Federal well being officers say an outbreak of salmonella infecting almost 400 individuals in more than 30 states has been linked to crimson onions, and recognized a California firm because the possible source.

The Public Health Agency of Canada can also be investigating an outbreak of Salmonella Newport sicknesses which have a genetic fingerprint carefully associated to the U.S. outbreak, that company stated Thursday.
